This day marks the birth of GOKITO. What started off as a company for consulting and commodities quickly turned into an innovative venture with the focus on building something special in Tanzania. By sourcing commodities all over the country we had a lot of time travelling and therefore a lot of time for ourselves.
Sitting on board of a bus up and down the country we became more and more aware of the beauty of nature all over the country. By using different means of transport we have also been made aware about the struggles and the needs of the drivers in particular and the people in the country in general.
So we started evaluating what we could do to A) easen the burden of the people, B) help the people grow personally and in their lives and C) how to protect this magnificantly beautiful country.

Gods ways are often not understandable, but he makes shure the universe conspires. There is no other explanation than that about the pleasure to meet Ali.
Having scheduled a consulting meeting about fundraising we ended up in talking a whole day about sustainability, ecological responsibility, latest technologies and how to best use them to the benefit of the entire population.
it not just turned out that we have met a person of highest integrity and responsibility but also a human being with determination, empathy and professionalism. His track record fits extraordinarily to the needs and visions of GOKITO/CL-O-E. Above all Ali is also a phantastic and understanding friend which we are happy to have on board for hopefully years to come and accompany us on the way to make a change.

Today marks one of the most important milestones since GOKITO's incorporation. We finally obtained our certificate for our TRADEMARK of CL-O-E. It feels like a second birthday to our venture and shows the official recognition by BRELA for our efforts in the past 36 months.
We don't take this for granted, but we also see this occation as one of the most important steps in positioning GOKITO and it's products and services as what they are: a unique aproach to change the awareness of ecological impact we all can make throughout Tanzania.
This is not only a Trademark - this shall be a symbol sustainable and concious use, production and distribution of electricity from renewable resources no matter which nature, to the benefit of the tanzanian population. And we are proud to be on the forefront with such a project in such a beautiful country and also be pioneers on the afrcan continent.
