We all know the struggles once we face power outages. Lights are down, our mobile won’t charge and the call with mum is cut off due to empty battery. We worry about our alimentaries in the fridge. No TV and no AC. All of which causes inconvinience for us and we never know when outages happen and when power is coming back.
We ourselves travelled the country extensively and whereever we went it was the same situation. Supply of electricity was unreliable at best. The sheer size of the country, coupled with challenges of the landscape and the presevation of nature pose some challenges for proper infrastructure installations.
Knowing first hand how dependent on electricity we are, it was clear for us that we use our abilities and network to provide solutions to the people, which make them less dependant on public supply. While the individual becomes less and less dependant on public supply, the public network will experience relief which results in more stable supply for the others.
The team of CLOE worked in various roles in the past, and we have seen many challenges. But as the world changes with all its challenges, it became clear to us, that we want to help to build Tanzania better. We love the country and the people and we love the beauty of this planet. We understand that every individual is denpending on another.
